3. Products

 

LINTON specializes in high-quality wood treatment oils and related products.

We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, images, colours, specifications, and pricing are accurate. However, slight variations in colour or appearance may occur depending on your device or display settings.

All product information is provided in good faith.

 

4. Prices

 

All prices are displayed in Norwegian Kroner (NOK).

Shipping costs are calculated separately and displayed during checkout.

LINTON reserves the right to correct pricing errors, typographical mistakes, or inaccurate product information before accepting an order.

 

5. Orders

 

An order is considered received once payment has been successfully completed.

An order confirmation email confirms that your order has been received but does not necessarily mean that it has been accepted.

LINTON reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in cases including, but not limited to:

  • pricing errors;

  • unavailable products;

  • suspected fraud;

  • incorrect customer information.

If payment has already been made for a cancelled order, a full refund will be issued.

 

6. Payment

 

Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers.

LINTON does not store your complete payment card information.

Accepted payment methods are displayed during checkout.

 

7. Shipping

 

Shipping is carried out within Norway.

Current shipping rates:

  • 1 L Wood Oil – 79 NOK

  • 5 L Wood Oil – 149 NOK

Estimated delivery time is normally 2–5 business days.

8. Returns and Refunds

 

Consumer returns and refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy and applicable Norwegian consumer protection legislation.

Please read our Refund Policy before requesting a return.

 

9. Product Use and Safety

 

Our products must always be used according to the instructions provided on the product packaging.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that products are suitable for their intended application before use.

When using wood treatment oils, customers should:

  • read all instructions before use;

  • use appropriate protective equipment where necessary;

  • ensure adequate ventilation during application;

  • keep products out of reach of children;

  • avoid contact with eyes and prolonged skin contact;

  • store products away from heat, sparks, and open flames;

  • dispose of used cloths, applicators, and other oil-contaminated materials safely and in accordance with applicable regulations.

Failure to follow product instructions may affect product performance and safety.

 

10. Warranty and Complaints

 

Consumers have rights under applicable Norwegian consumer protection legislation regarding defective products.

If you believe a product is defective, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible with a description of the issue and supporting photographs where appropriate.

 

11. Limitation of Liability

 

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LINTON shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded under Norwegian law.

  • photographs;

  • graphics;

  • logos;

  • product descriptions;

is the property of LINTON or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
